HYPNOTHERAPY
SERVICES
My Method
I am both a clinical hypnotherapist and an RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) practitioner. Primarily I use hypnosis, often RTT, along with coaching tools to support clients as they transform in beautiful ways.
RTT is a very powerful method and with it committed clients can achieve rapid positive change. Many clients have shared with me how powerful the sessions are and how joyful they are about the change that emerged from them. See my testimonials page for first person accounts of client transformation.

What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a completely safe and natural state which allows direct access to the subconscious mind. This is where our learned behavior systems live. During hypnosis, your conscious mind fades into the background, while your subconscious mind takes over.
Did you know that we all enter into a state of hypnosis every day? Multiple times?!
Although many are unaware of this fact, we all experience self-hypnosis frequently throughout the day. You experience this state, for example, when driving a very familiar route and suddenly you arrive and can’t really remember the steps you took to get there. Or when you are intently watching a movie and the bell rings and you jump! During these times you are in a hypnotic trance of sorts.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis for therapeutic reasons. Hypnosis is used to access the subconscious mind and dive deep into the root cause of an issue for the client and the reason for a limiting belief. Using hypnosis, we can bypass the conscious mind and go directly to the source of the problem. We can tackle the issues via the subconscious, generally a much more rapid way to rewire the mind, as compared to some other types of therapy, for example, talk therapy, where you are using your conscious mind during sessions.
How is RTT different from other types of hypnosis?
What is unique about RTT as compared to other types of hypnotherapy is that during the session, once the client understands the root cause of their issue, there are several RTT-specific techniques carefully facilitated by the hypnotherapist to help the client reframe their negative beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors, take back their power, and experience a life-changing transformation.
In addition, once the issues have been reframed, RTT therapists provide personalized audio for the client to listen to for 28 days. This complements the work done in the session, by reinforcing the new positive beliefs, thoughts, and/or habits of the client.
What is my approach?
With gentle compassionate facilitation, deep hypnosis, calming heart-led techniques, and the use of powerful client-specific tools, I empower clients to let go of fear, worry, shame, lack of connection, and other issues, so they can connect to themselves and to others in beautiful and healthy ways.
It is my belief that many of the issues I work with are exacerbated by our increasing disconnect from nature and from our bodies, thus I put an emphasis on using tools that help us foster a deeper connection to our bodies and the natural world.
You weren’t born with your issue and you can leave it behind.
By tapping into your subconscious and using the power of your imagination, you can build the life you desire.
Sessions
Full hypnosis sessions generally last 2–3 hours and are held fully online.
During the sessions I support clients as they discard the old and weave a new bold and joyful story for themselves. I support them as they step into their power, as they create an anchored home within themselves to balance them wherever they are. I give them the guidance they need to enable them to let go, to feel calm, centered, to create joyful connection and to step into being dauntless. In this way, they embrace the beautiful life they envision for themselves.
“Pain will leave you, when you let go.”

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Absolutely! It is just as effective as in person, and in my opinion, can even be more effective. This is because with video calls you can have sessions from the comfort of your own home. Often this relaxes the client more than going into an office.
-
No. It is very important that you be committed to the process, and be committed to change. In this way, you will see the best results. This commitment usually includes doing a pre-session call and always includes participating in a full session and committing to listening to the transformational audio daily after the session is over. At times you may also be asked to complete certain additional activities to help you further.
-
The transformation audio is personalized audio you listen to for at least 28 days, generally at night before you go to sleep. It harnesses your power of imagination, by focusing on all the positive things that you would like to see for yourself in the future. It helps to cement the new positive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors via a state of hypnosis and repetition.
-
A resounding YES!
In order to change negative beliefs, thoughts, and habits, clients need to reinforce the new understandings from the session using repetition, in this case, this repetition is provided in the audio. As you may know, in order, for example, to change a habit, one needs to work on it daily for several weeks in order to cement new behaviors. The same goes for thoughts and beliefs. Although a session can create instant change, listening to the audio helps solidify the new way of being and so is an important part of the work.
-
There is not much you have to do to prepare. There is generally a short pre- session coaching call and you may be asked to practice a breathing technique to help you during a session, or to listen to a general relaxation audio to get you used to the process. I will always email to you a list of very simple instructions to prepare for the session during the day of, things such as making sure to choose a comfortable, private and quiet space, to choose comfortable clothes to wear, and to make sure your device is fully charged, etc.
-
Clients should feel relaxed during a session. Some will feel sleepy. For some, the relaxation is lighter, for others, deep. Hypnosis is not like the movies, so you may wonder if you are actually hypnotized. You are! During hypnosis. you are able to talk and sometimes outside thoughts may pop into your head. That is perfectly ok! For some there will be tears as they release the negative beliefs and thoughts but you will be guided through whatever comes up gently.
-
Clients’ experiences vary. Most often they feel really good! Lighter, more joyful, calmer. On occasion a day or two later they might feel things like fatigue, cold and flu-like symptoms, sweating, etc. This will only last a short while and is entirely normal. After an emotional session, this can be the way of the body detoxing. It is important to take things a little easy the rest of the day following the session and drink ample water. Most importantly, listen to your body.
-
There are 3 different types of change.
1. Immediate- Many of my clients experience powerful change immediately!
2. Cumulative- This is when you see shifts over time.
3. Retroactive- This is when you are not aware of the changes but one day look back and there they are! This highlights the importance of continuing with the audio even if you are not sure it is working.
-
Clients often only need one session to feel significant change! They generally need no more than three at most. I always start out with one session for a particular issue and then see where it takes us.
-
Your responsibility as a client is to commit to the process of change. When clients want change, are ready for change, and follow the steps of the process, the results are generally powerful! Conversely, if a client doesn’t follow through there may not be as much change as desired. I, the therapist, and you, the client work together, but you are the one in control.
I am simply the guide, you create the change!
